“Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully.Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he’ll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes!”

The base is love. After reading these verses, I believe it really shows a generalized but powerful version of love. Just within the first two verses it explains how we have little time left on this Earth and to really take the time to appreciate one another and love one another. Especially in a time where we want everything now and hate waiting for things, we MUST prioritize the process of loving with a purpose. What I mean by that are not necessarily doing one big action of love but making it apart of your daily routine, such as random acts of kindness while doing them with the intent of purely representing Gods love. God gave up an immense price, his son Jesus, so that we didn’t have to pay one…NOW THATS LOVE! Being generous with our love and time is essential to a healthy lifestyle and is critical to the ethics and values of what it means to be a Christ-Follower so if you wanna be like Christ, learn to love with reckless abandon.
God Bless,
